Pixel Technologies is an Australian based tech company specialising in the development & manufacturing of products & solutions for the lift, elevator & security industry. With over 20 years experience Pixel has solidified themselves as innovative market leaders and landmark buildings around the globe are now facilitated with their leading edge products.

Until now, Pixel had relied solely on a good reputation and a proactive sales team to increase business. The website had not been considered as an avenue for attracting new customers. It was outdated, unresponsive and hard to navigate, visitors were coming but no punters would stay.

The previous website had not been utilised as a marketing tool to create new business. After getting to know Pixel and their product range it became clear that majority of their monthly traffic were reoccurring users returning to download manuals and software.

This resulted in a very large bounce rate (users dropping off as soon as they arrive), short session duration time and few pages viewed. The challenge now was to improve their online presence and attract new potential customers, keep them engaged and instigate a conversion to purchase or enquire.

THE SOLUTION

A complete rebuild was required on a solid foundation of search-engine-optimised content. The layout was to be clean & simple with easy-to-use navigation that will intuitively guide users around the site.

To match the modern aesthetics of the rebuild the products, graphics and copy also required a complete update. Patrick intimately got to know Pixels product range so he could effectively market each page to it’s target audience.

In conclusion, the lack of an established and effective online presence meant Pixel was missing out. Prior to the rebuild, search results would only list the website if you queried the company name. This along with an outdated, unresponsive design & poor site navigation meant the site was in much need of a make-over.

By implementing basic SEO techniques into the rebuild, the home page and respective product pages begun to rank (often in the top 5).
